Ilya Hype

Dj Ilya Hype is a bright representative of Ukrainian tech music. His djing experience goes back to 2000, starting with Detroit Techno. Than his music preferences smoothly shifted into House and Progressive House. But Techno gained over House once again, and the era of Minimal Techno and Tech-House started. It withdrew all the rest and has remained the main stream for the last 3 years of Ilya’s creativity. In 2004 Ilya becomes the principle member of the SSPrec |SunShinePlanet – Kiev|. Thus, he releases SUNSHINEPLANET – MIX ALLIANCE BY DJ OLEG STUFF AND DJ HYPE – progressive house back-to-back mix /summer ‘04/ THE WITCHCRAFT - progressive house mix /fall'04/ ROYAL AUGUST – tech-house mix /2005/ Dj Ilya Hype – TEA PARTY – tech-house mix /2005/ TWIX CD - DJ Ilya Hype – INDOORS/OUTDOORS – minimal-techno mix /2006/ At the end of 2007 Ilya left SSPrec and started his own tech-label “MiniMonsta”. The first but not the least release of the new-appeared label was - Dj Ilya Hype - TECHNOSTALGIA – minimal techno mix /2007/. Through the whole career of a Dj, Ilya has never abandoned the idea of producing his own music. He has spent plenty of time in finding the “Liquid sound”. His aim was and still remains producing tracks that would sound on the dance floors all over the world, that would make people move and burn with emotions. He expects his singles to be highly emotional, bright and authentical. By now Ilya lives and works in the Crimea, where he was born.
